Manning Search Group’s Equipment Distribution and Manufacturing Services practice is led by Steve Fallick. Steve brings more than seven years executive search experience as well as more than 35 years senior level operating experience bringing profitable growth to variety of highly engineered product design, manufacturing, distribution and aftermarket service companies. Steve is known as a hands-on, high energy, collaborative leader whose passion for people and process has fostered stellar change accomplishments in Fortune 500 firms such as General Electric, NCR, Gemini Consulting, Caterpillar’s Dealer Network and Air Products & Chemicals. His penchant for leading organizational transformations and recruiting those mid-level and senior executives that create customer-focused service driven organizations have set him apart from the “also rans.” A man of high integrity and principle, he is devoted to nurturing organizational growth and profitability by attention to people and processes. Steve blends a keen sense of markets served with an intimate understanding of operations. He believes that an organization’s products, its operations, its people, and its processes must always serve the customer. Steve’s stewardship has enabled him to select, recruit and retain the people that can deliver growth in stagnant markets, increase profitability through customer-focused organizational realignments and restructuring, and sharply curtail costs through team developed process improvements. Steve earned a Master of Science degree in Management in 1971 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering in 1968 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. His early leadership talents were showcased during this period as President of the New York Delta Chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity from 1967 to 1968 and later as President of the New York Delta Alumni Corporation from 1972 to 1978. Continuing his life learning process, Steve has completed General Electric’s Crotonville twelve week talent assessment and skills development series including Management Development, Business Development, and International Management programs. Steve continued his personal development by completing Six Sigma training with Gemini Consulting and Caterpillar. Steve has been an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management since 1993 and joined MHEDA in 2006.
